2017 marks 50 years since the iconic Margaret River winery Vasse Felix was established by Dr Tom Cullity who searched the South-West cape of Western Australia relentlessly for his first vineyard site, before selecting 8 acres of land in Cowaramup. Today, this special block, Margaret River’s original vines, remains at the heart of the Vasse Felix Estate.

Vasse Felix has progressed considerably since 1967 and now produces a collection of wine which showcases Margaret River’s regional strengths including cabernet sauvignon, chardonnay, shiraz and semillon sauvignon blanc blends. The wines are made to best express the unique environment of Margaret River with a ‘hands-off’ approach to viticulture and winemaking. All fruit is grown, fermented, matured and bottled within the Vasse Felix Estate.
