Please note that the above changes are based on meeting current utilisation levels which will be further reviewed in September, at which time any further amendments will be based on what we believe Member activity levels at the time can financially support. In the interim, let’s hope that we continue to have no COVID community spread, thereby allowing for further easing of restrictions and in turn, some return of conference and banqueting activity to help bolster revenue.

Vasse Felix Pairing Promotion

August will see the return of the popular Vasse Felix Classic Pairing Plates. This promotion offers a choice of charred Stirling Range fillet steak or grilled Tasmanian salmon, both served with trimmings and paired with a glass of Vasse Felix Classic Red or White wine which, at $39.00, offers great value.

Saturday High Tea (Saturday 22 August) (FULLY BOOKED)

I am also pleased to announce the relaunch of Saturday High Tea which will now be offered once per month commencing 22nd August. This is the ideal event for enjoying a leisurely Saturday afternoon with family or friends, however, it is very popular so I would recommend you book early to avoid disappointment.

Carvery Night in the Café (Friday 28 August)

Due to the overwhelming response to the British Carvery Night, we have decided to repeat the same format albeit with different entertainment (yet to be determined) in August. Once again, this evening is expected to be popular so please book early.

Vasse Felix Wine Dinner (Friday 21 August)(FULLY BOOKED)

If July’s wine dinner is anything to benchmark against, I highly recommend that you book ASAP. Please note that due to current COVID restrictions, we have had to relocate this event to the Banquet Hall, however, you will see no change to the format and tables will still be allocated as per individual bookings.

Potential Home Delivery Service

Due to the popularity of our takeaway and home delivery meals during the recent lockdown period, we are considering offering this service on an ongoing basis. Our initial intent would be to offer this on a fortnightly basis, but before doing so, we would like to gauge what level of support this may gain. As such, can I please ask anyone interested to respond by clicking on the following link.

Last but by no means least, it has been really heart-warming to see so many returning Members and although we realise that not everyone is quite ready to mingle in larger groups just yet, those who we haven’t seen remain in our thoughts and it is our hope to see you very soon.

Regards and best wishes to everybody,

Gary Ellis – General Manager
