The University’s iconic bell-tower, grand colonnades and soaring arches provide the perfect backdrop for wedding photographs, however you will require a ticket in order to take your wedding photographs on campus and parties without a ticket will be asked to leave, so if you would like to have your photographs taken here, please ensure you follow the guidelines below.

If you have booked your ceremony on campus

If you have booked your ceremony in the Sunken Garden or Tropical Grove, you are entitled to a complimentary 1 hour photography session on the University’s grounds. On making your ceremony booking, you will be issued with a confirmation letter. Please bring this letter with you on the day.

If you have booked your reception at the Club

If you have booked your reception at The University Club, you are also entitled to a complimentary 1 hour photography session on the University’s grounds. On making your reception booking, you will be issued with a confirmation letter. Please bring this letter with you on the day.

If you have booked your ceremony and reception elsewhere

If you hold your ceremony and reception elsewhere, you can purchase a ticket online for a 1 hour photography session on the University’s grounds. These permits are limited though, so if you are unable to purchase a ticket for the date you require, it means that either photography is not permitted on that particular date (due to exams or other events on campus) or that tickets for that date have already sold out.

Photography on the University campus is permitted during the following times only:

Monday to Friday – from 5.30pm
Saturday and Sunday – all day
