Who can become a Member?
Membership is open to University of Western Australia alumni, staff and postgraduate students, as well as members of the broader community with a connection to the University, the Club, or the community.
Do I need to be a UWA graduate to join?
No. While many Members are alumni, we also welcome community members, corporate organisations and individuals with a strong affiliation to the Club, The University of Western Australia, or existing Members.
What if I don’t fit into a standard membership category?
You may apply via a non-standard application. Applicants are required to demonstrate a strong connection to The University of Western Australia. Our Membership Team can assist with this process.
Can I visit the Club before becoming a member?
Prospective Members are welcome to enquire about visiting the Club before joining. Please contact our Membership Team to discuss further.
What membership categories are available?
We offer a range of categories including University of Western Australia Staff, University Western Australia Postgraduate students, University of Western Australia Young Alumni, Individual (Alumni), Community, Corporate, Family and Regional / Interstate Memberships.
What is the difference between Individual and Community Membership?
Individual Membership is available to UWA alumni, while Community Membership is designed for those connected to the Club through nomination, local affiliation or professional links.
What is Young Alumni Membership?
Young Alumni Membership is available to UWA graduates aged 35 years and under, offering access to the full range of Club benefits.
Is there a membership option for organisations?
Yes. Corporate Membership is available for organisations with an existing relationship with the Club or the University, providing a professional setting for client engagement and team use.
Can families join the Club?
Yes. Family Membership is available to eligible family groups, allowing shared access to the Club’s facilities and benefits.
What are the key benefits of membership?
Members enjoy access to Club dining venues, a curated calendar of events, reciprocal club privileges, preferential pricing, private event benefits, and a range of exclusive Member offers.
Do Members receive discounts?
Yes. Members enjoy preferred pricing across dining, events, private functions and selected partner offers.
What are reciprocal club privileges?
Members have access to a network of affiliated university and city clubs around the world, allowing use of their facilities when traveling. View our current list of reciprocal members here
Can I host events at the Club?
Yes. Members receive preferential rates for private events, meetings and celebrations, with access to a range of versatile spaces.
Is parking available?
Members have access to private undercover parking when visiting the Club. Please note this benefit is not available to Postgraduate Members and is subject to availability. There is also Visitor Parking available next to the Club and street parking on both sides of Hackett drive. Fees are applicable when parking on all areas of campus.
Can I bring guests to the Club?
Yes. Members are welcome to host up to 5 guests per visit to share the Club experience, subject to Club guidelines.
Do Members receive event updates?
Yes. Members receive regular communications featuring upcoming events, promotions and Club news.
Is the Club suitable for business meetings?
